University life.

It’s nearly the end of semester 1 for my Graduate Certificate in Writing, Editing, Publishing at The University of Queensland. It’s been an eye opener as a mature aged student. I feel I have an edge with my media experience, but get lost in the academia world. DRAM7400 Performative Communication is an amazing class. I felt this subject gave me confidence and helped my presentation skills. WRIT7050 Fiction Ideas Creativity has harnessed my writing and editing skills. The final 3000 word short story has been reviewed numerous times as it’s made me be more critical of sentences and word structure. I’m looking forward to semester 2 and the new subjects that await.
