The passing of an Aboriginal legend.

I had the pleasure to meet many times a trailblazer who shaped a future and broke many barriers for our people. To hear of his passing was a shock as any news about mob always is. To speak to him about his life and career was enlightening. Made me feel like I should stop complaining and put my head down, bum up and Focus on my end goals. He broke many firsts. This is what our people can do. The areas our mob have broken firsts in include sport, medicine and the arts. There are so many more first on the horizon with the amount of mob passing through Universities. I can proudly say I spoke and have some great memories of him and hope to share some footage (family permission) on Indigistream in the near future to acknowledge his great work.
